Food Gardening Classes in Baltimore County
As part of the Maryland Grow It Eat It Network, Baltimore County Master Gardeners will offer an expanded array of food gardening classes starting in the late winter of 2010. Last year we launched our Basic Vegetable Gardening classes for beginning food gardeners. We will offer the basic class again this year, plus we are adding a Special Topics class that will cover pest & disease management, succession planting, harvesting, fall gardening, and more. Because it is a topic of so much interest we are devoting one class just to Composting.
Classes will be held at public libraries throughout the county, as well as Oregon Ridge and Irvine Nature Centers. WATCH THIS SPACE FOR A LISTING OF DATES, TIMES & LOCATIONS!
