Baltimore County Fire Department trainees practice fire-fighting on the derelict buildings scheduled for demolition.
When the building are cleared, work can begin on the well that will service the MG demonstration garden area.

JUNE 4th BCMG Garden Tour

June 4th, Master Gardeners visited the gardens of Ann Blouse, Michael Finn, Lucy Wright and Laura Robertson. This is a photo of Mike's extra large Magnolia Macrophylla. In the winter, the large leaves litter the woods like large sheets of newspaper.

First Spring Lecture Series debuts March 7th! MG Heather Wight demonstrates how to plant various containers during one session of the successful 4 week series.

Baltimore County MG's host an Advanced Training in Master Composting on March 17 & 24.

1st Ever Work Day at the Baltimore County Agriculture Center and Farm Park

It was a wet one, and not without it's adventures and mud. Thank goodness Mike Spencer showed up with his loader and a chain to pull out one of the trucks. Bay-Wise was able to plant their trees and GIEI had a load of leaf-gro delivered. Again Mike Spencer to the rescue! He was able to move it to the plot before the rain began again.
