Plant Swap - Weather permtting the swap will take place in the parking lot following the meeting, otherwise it will be during an extended hospitality break after our speaker.
This will be our first attempt at a plant swap.  Similar to what the Horticulture Society of MD is doing at their September meeting ours will be informal.  If you bring a plant; you can take a plant, if you bring three; you can take three and so on.  If all plants are not taken, those that may not have brought a plant to swap would have the opportunity to ask for an unclaimed plant.   Now is the time to think about what plant you will want to bring and pot it up if weather is mild enough to do so.   Please make sure that your pots are clean!   We do not want to have a mess to clean up at Oregon Ridge.    Please reply to this email on what you are planning to bring or just email me and I will keep a tally and post an update every few days as I get some feedback.  It should be a fun event and a great way to get some new plants!

At Kenilworth Bazaar, we will do 8/25 in September 9/1, 9/8, 9/15 and 9/22.

At Irvine Nature Center on 8/29 during their Native Plant Sale, however this event will only be literature distribution.

October events will be at Cromwell Valley Park 10/10 and 10/11, these are all day events.

We will have our monthly meeting at the Cockeysville Library at 6:30 PM.

BCMG July Meeting      Midsummer Morning Breakfast and Social Featured Speaker: Karen Stupski on Permaculture THURSDAY, JULY 9TH 10 AM Oregon Ridge Lodge   Please bring a food item and yourself for a fun and interesting morning. Coffee/Tea Service will be provided.   Permaculture is a way of bringing together in a sensible system: ourselves and our communities, with whatever bit of land/space we are tending. It can be as small as a window with sprouts or as large as a farm or a bioregion. It can be in the city, the suburbs or in the country. Permaculture addresses the way we live on this planet in a graceful and healthy way, respecting the plants and animals around us, and leaving the biosphere in a more productive and healthy state than we found it.   http://www.heathcote.org   Questions?
